My name is Freek D’Hooge and I am an Oracle consultant for Uptime since 2004. Prior to that I worked as oracle developer/dba in the advertisement world.
I am living in Lokeren, a small town between Gent and Sint-Niklaas and home to the fantastic festival: de lokerse feesten. The company I work for is located in Kontich, but as a consultant DBA I am working for customers spread out over Belgium.

I am an oracle 9i and 10g certified professional (ocp) and for the moment I am mainly working on high availability projects involving oracle rac and dataguard.
